Copyright and DMCA policy

Last updated: 2026-10-15

We respect intellectual property. We respond to notices that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512) and to equivalent notices under other laws.

How to send a copyright notice

Send your notice through the contact form and choose the topic "Copyright notice". The form then asks for each item below. Your notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature. A typed full name is fine.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
  3. Identification of the material on this site you say infringes it, with its URL, so we can find it.
  4. Your contact information, including an email address.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Counter-notification

If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notification through the contact form. It must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which the service provider may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.

After a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the person who sent the original notice tells us they have filed a court action.

Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notification can be liable for damages. Please make sure your claim is accurate before you send it.

Repeat infringers

This site has no user uploads. If anyone contributes material in the future, we will remove the contributions of people who repeatedly infringe copyright, in appropriate circumstances.

Forwarding notices

We may forward a notice, or a counter-notification, to the party concerned.
